Keeping an open mind

   In the "alien" world, there seem to be 4 main theories. These branch off in many directions but they all form their unique little niche in the world of the unexplained. I am generally neutral and can listen to all these theories with an open mind and will not tell you which one is right and which is wrong - I have no idea! It's not like the dreams or the ghosts section where I say, "These things are real and I know it!" I've experienced those too many times to discount their legitamacy. When it comes to aliens and flying saucers, I can only go by information given since I have never witnessed anything first-hand and if I had I surely wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what's going on. So here we go.

Government or astral projects?

   The first theory is that flying saucers aren't really anything "alien" at all. The saucers are thought to be top-secret military craft the government wants to hide the existance of from its enemies. Some believe the governments are even involved with the reports of U.F.O.'s so that the other governments will be thrown off track and witnesses could be dismissed as crack-pots. This is the easiest theory for skeptics since they can dismiss the idea of aliens all together. Other non-alien versions include electronic meteorological phenomena or non-manned machines repairing the boundaries between the physical and astral planes, of course, the skeptics would have nothing to do with the latter theories. Some also believe that they're beings from another dimension or plane and not of the physical universe we live in. If this were the case, perhaps my dream encounter was really an encounter on the astral plane and not just a lucid dream as I took it.

Creatures from our solar system

   Next we move on to the first of two extra-terrestrial theories, meaning that the aliens are physical beings not of this earth. In this version, the aliens are believed to stem from somewhere inside our solar system. This leads into even more theories and speculation, but the 2 prevailing theories are that they are either from a destroyed Mars or another as-yet-undiscovered planet. It's becoming increasingly more likely that Mars once held life. It's also clear that Mars is now a deserted wasteland which could have been caused by a dinosaur-extinction like comet that's believed to have nailed Mars and ripped apart half its surface. If an advanced civilization living on the planet survived they would have flown to the nearest planet for survival. The other main half of this theory has been made famous by the works of Zecharia Sitchin and his theory of a 10th planet (now 9th thanks to Pluto dropping out). This undiscovered planet orbits the sun every 3600 years and comes near to the Earth during the journey. To some this may seem "far-out" but his work all deals with the ancient texts concerning the Anunnaki and their place in history which did happen. The Anunnaki can easily fit in with 3 of the 4 theories listed in this article.

Beings in a galaxy far, far away

   Then there's the common notion that the extra-terrestrials come from outside the solar system or even another galaxy. It's our version of contacting life on other planets only they made it here first. According to Einstein and most other scientists, nothing can move faster than the speed of light, making it impossible to travel between our planets in a rational amount of time. This is where talk of worm-holes comes in to play. To us the spaceships would be teleporting from one planet to another when in scientific reality space and time would be bent so that our planets meet on a much shorter distance. The distance between planets would then be shortened from millions of light years to just a few short minutes. Scientists are beginning to make breakthroughs in matters of quantum physics and there's no reason a far more advanced race of alien species wouldn't have been able to perfect this technology sometime in the last few billion years of the universe's existance.

Men are from Mars, Women are from hollow-earth

   Last but not least is what could be the most unbelievable theory to some. This theory 'suggests' that we are not mammals and originally evolved from reptiles in the distant past. The popular version of the 'grey' type of aliens so common today are believed to be surviving members of the dinosaur era. If our planet were to go through another traumatic, world-changing event in the near future we could save some of ourselves and continue the human race in the years to come. The reptilian aliens would have had the knowledge to do so when the dinosaur extinction came. For survival, they built underground bases (much like current bomb-shelters for governments) and travelled deep inside the earth, which is believed by some to be hollow rather than molten. The aliens, which are really surviving dinosaurs, then bred humans like "dogs" to set us to work for them. Again, referring to the Anunnaki, humans were bred to work as slaves until Adam and Eve metaphorically took a bite of the apple. If not an entirely hollow-earth, there's no doubt hidden chambers underground like the tunnels through mountains. With all the talk of flying saucers disappearing into the mountains and splashing down deep into the oceans it's easy to imagine an underground world inhabited by these beings.

And the mystery goes on

   I should stress again that I am not for or against any of these. I don't think anyone can know for sure yet. Until we make "official" contact with these beings - and have it open to the average citizens of the world - we won't know. They're up/down there watching us testing us and even breeding better versions of us. I think if they were hostile we would have lost the battle years ago. Many people believe that they're waiting to put a stop to a nuclear war in the future. Who knows? As with everything else, only time will tell.
