A number of metallic tubes of the same shape but different sizes were found in 1968. They were in a Cretaceous period chalk bed estimated to be at least 65 million years old. The discovers turned over their finds to the University of Caen in France and that's where the story ends.
I have found this story in many different places on the net and in books. At the moment, I'm using Forbidden Archaeology by Michael A. Cremo & Richard L. Thomspson as reference. The picture you see here is the same picture they have in the book. It is also the only picture I can find throughout the entire net or any other books that mention the tubes. The same picture and it's a hand-drawn one!
Either the whole thing is made up - or they've decided to hide the evidence! Yeah, like usual, the things disappeared and you can't find any more information on the tubes since they don't fit in with the "accepted" evolution theories. I can't even find out how many there were - they only hint that there's more than 1. Trying to find anything on the University of Caen website is impossible since I'm not fluent in French, and even if I was, there's probably not much to find out - the powers-that-be would give you the run-around.
Cremo and Thompson stated that they requested information and were still waiting for it. Perhaps they'll finally pull through for the 2nd book. It's people like that who have the weight to push around these guys - or at least a strong backing from fans. Let's hope it pays off for them.
