Hi Jill,
It's a little tricky at first but once you get it you won't have many problems down the road. Just imagine yourself floating up and out of your body. Think about yourself getting lighter and lighter and floating up to the ceiling. I'm not sure if you've been able to see during the paralysis or not, but another way is to focus your "astral eyes" right below the ceiling and try to pull that point towards you. If you're getting the sleep paralysis so often than this should come pretty easily to you but you might have to try a few times for it to work. Most people can't obtain the sleep paralysis but you've already made it past that hardest part and the obe almost feels natural once you get it and doesn't take much to obtain. As for the voices, don't worry about those. It can be part of your mind in the dream state conjuring up some sounds or you might even be hearing someone talking far away. Your senses are greatly heightened during an obe and sometimes you'll hear people talking from far away as though they're right in front of you. Once you get out of your body the strange voices and noises won't happen so much. And like I said, just imagine yourself floating up out of your body and you should project yourself pretty easily.
Best of luck and happy travels,
Doug

hi thanks for the quick reply. i have another question you might not be able to asnwer it but theres really no one else to ask. about a month agoi woke up from a nap and lied there with my eyes open for a whwle and decided to continue my nap cause i like naps. wihtin seconds of closong my eyes i experienced an extremly vivid and emotinal lucid dream. when it was finished, yea it had an ending, i opened my eyes and when i closed them i went back into anoter vivd dream in about 3 seconds, in this one i could even feel someone touch me and have it tickle. within probably an hour or so of having these episodes and opening my eyes i probably had 3 or 4, but i also had a few things where it just felt like i was rolling off the bed or sikning down and i know that this has to do with obe's but the dream ones were just so weird and i was wondering if u had an explination for them? were they possibly projections. (im sorry if this is worded all crazy, its late.)

Hi again Jill,
These sound like usual lucid dreams. When you're waking up in the morning they're the easiest to have because you're not in a deep sleep. I get them most in the last hour of sleep on a morning that I'm sleeping in and not being waken by an alarm. Once you realize you're dreaming you can start to control these dreams and it's a lot of fun. It's also an easy way to have an astral projection because you're mind is already awake and you know you're dreaming. Some people consider all dreams obe's but I think there's a big difference and the easiest way for me to tell is the touching part. In an obe you can't usually feel things the way you normally would. In lucid dreams you can feel the slightest touch as if it were real. As for the sinking in the bed, this could have been an obe. At night our astral body always detaches itself from the physical body and we can sometimes feel the change. This accounts for a lot of people having falling dreams and they wake up as their bodies realign. Hope this helps.
