I myself have had one OBE (out of body experience) in my lifetime that i have a quite fond memory of. My older brother was a marine fighting in iraq and was killed (ironically enough) on 9/11 weekend in 2004 (for privacy i wont tell the actual date if thats OK). The night after his funeral, in my sleep i spent an entire day with him. In this OBE i was my actual age at the time (10) and he was 12! He was 21 when he died however. (he was in all actuality a half-brother so there was a pretty big age gap). My theory for why this is was because in my fondest memory of him he was 12 and ran around the house with baby-me on his shoulders playing "airplane" (which shows how close the memory was to my heart being at such a young age (1). We ran around the town playing games like tag and in general having a great time. He cured my sadness of his death via one last time to have fun with him. I believe (though cant confirm) that he has become a self-appointed guardian angel of me and my entire family.

My sister, though she didnt experience the same one, also had an OBE that same night, of our bro, in his marines uniform, coming into her room, hugging her, and walking back out again. She never told me whether she was asleep or awake when she saw this however so i cant confirm that it was an "OBE" per say, im not quite sure what it would be if she were awake though.

My mom, sitting in a lawn chair in the front yard a week later found a cloud in the sky that covered the moon, allowing it to "glow", it was in the shape of a heart. I havnt found this kind of thing repeated in other articles (yet) though.
