This is one of those short mysteries I love throwing in. I stick this one in the Occult section because unlike other cattle mutilations which seem to be extraterrestrial, this one sounds like a bunch of occultists up to no good. This story comes from Michael Albers - The Terror.
   It starts out in September, 1975, with a forestry service employee reporting that he saw some people in hooded black robes around Cove Creek, Idaho. The next day a bunch of cattle were found mutilated throughout the area. The police investigated but couldn't find them.
   The story doesn't stop there, though. On October 9 of that year, a motorist called police to report that he had been driving down Highway 95 in northern Idaho around 3:30am when about 15 masked people in black formed a roadblock with linked arms in front of him. He turned the car around and escaped.
   And that is where the story does stop. I couldn't find any more about the "hooded people in black" by doing a quick search on the net. If I ever come across more I'll post it here.
