Hello, my name is Amanda and I have the gift of automatic writing. I have had this gift for, well, I suppose my entire life. I have done so much research on this subject and what it is all about. In almost everything that I read it says things like I have to get in a quite place, I need to meditate, or that I need to get in a trance state of mind. Well, here is the thing. I do not have to do any of these things!! This gift is so natural to me. I can write anywhere or anytime. I talk to the “other side” just like I would talk to you. God has blessed me with such a wonderful powerful gift. However, automatic writing is not all I can do. I am not a psychic. Just for fun, we (sprits and I) love to interact. By this, I mean we play around by moving things. “Our” thing is twirling a necklace. What I do is take my cross or what anyone might have that has a point on the end and then I take the necklace and place it on my middle finger. I then brace my arm and hand. I allow the necklace to hang until it hits the table. I then give the necklace slack and then the rest is up to them. I love to see what and how much they can move it. Take a cross pendent for instance. I give enough slack in the line that it almost lying down. “They” can take that cross and move in ways that there is no way humanly possible that I could pull a trick like that. The best is when “they” take the cross and stand it straight up all the while you can still see the slack in the line.
I do however have some trouble. I do not know anyone like me. It is so hard for me to have this gift and longing for to have someone to talk about it; someone who has the gift as well. I writing you in hopes that maybe you can help me. It would be so nice to have someone well anyone to talk to about this and ask questions to. God has blessed me with such a remarkable gift. I just wished that I had people that I could turn to. Most of the people in my life know about my gift but I DO NOT go around trying to get people’s money and announcing the gift I have. Hell, most people think I need to be put away somewhere or they say it is the devil. People are afraid of what they do not understand so they choose not to believe or open their closed minds just an inch to let some light in. As you can tell, I am in desperate need of some help. Anything you have to offer I will be so appreciative of!!! Maybe, you might know of some groups or websites or basically anything that might help.

Ouija boards and automatic writing are a way for non-psychic persons to open the door and experience these things for themselves. Not only does it open your mind to the possibility of something more than our physical world but it also can serve as a gateway into better psychic senses. It sounds to me as though you're slowly developing the abilities beyond the physical communication tools. Just be sure you trust these spirits because if an ill-intentioned spirit were to get through to you it can do harm. More than likely you are conversing with your guardian angel, which is a good thing because they'll never purposely harm or mislead you.
There are more people than you realize that are into these things. You said you're from Alabama just like a regular poster in the forum here. She keeps everything to herself because she knows the Christian community would shun her if they found out. This is kind of the same thing with this website - I never knew anyone really into these things like myself and it can be hard to find someone to talk about it whether for a serious discussion or for minor help.
You're probably surrounded by people with their own special little gifts that they're afraid to share. In a strongly Christian community these things become suppressed for fear of being labelled demonic. These are natural gifts that should be used to the fullest. You're at the age where it will be easier to develop your gifts further and you're far from alone. Start by posting in forums and looking at different websites. You'll start finding more and more people into these things and with time you might find people in your own area as well - in person or on the net.
