This is a thread about little known facts.  Post your own!

1) Chevy Chase was one of the original members of Steely Dan
2) Steely Dan is the name of a sex toy as referred to in Naked Lunch.
3) Chevy Chase is kind of, for lack of better words, "sick", and I believe he is stalking a close friend of mine.
4) Enough about f$#^ing Chevy Chase.
5) A group of owls is called a Parliament.  We want the FUNK!
6) A group of crows is called a murder.
7) If you ate a polar bear's liver, you would die due to too much iron.
Whales used to be land-living mammals resembling huge horses.
9) If you sing softly and lull-a-bye-ishly around dusk in a place that bats are indiginous, they will hover you. 
10) DaVinci has no last name.  He is a bastard child and his last name literally means "of Vinci".

saw it had to comment...sorry. Yes where is the funk? Did you know that Rooks also hold a parliment, one Rook stands in the middle of the large gathering and sings or sqwaks and is the only one making noise. When he finishes his nosie one of two things happen, either all the Rooks take wings as one and leave or they all fall on the one in the middle and kill him. And you thought it was just a harmless game... DaVinci is considered a last name because through out the middle ages it was a common practice that people took on as last names the places they were from others would use thier job title as a last name, such as Smith Baker Taylor and so on some like most Cleltic people would just use son of and then fathers name as a last name such as Maclean which is son of Gillean or McArthur son of Arthur or MacDonald son of Donald and so thats what Mac or Mc stand for son of.
