have you ever seen one of these? I have! my local aquarium has 3, a male and two females. they are a true wonder of cryptozoology! Smiley

That is too cool. Where are they found, how big do they get? that looks like a cross between a whale shark and a ray.

I think that they are found in the Indian Ocean, off of the Southern Asian countries, mainly in the Indonesia region...and idk exactly how long they get. and they grow about 8.9 feet, or 2.7 meters. they are extremely rare, except in Australia. they have quite a few in the aquariums there, but they only have about 1 per aquarium. they are so rare to see in the wild though.

Lol...ive heard many people at the aquarium trying to challenge the existance of the shark ray, then they bet the aquarium biologists will say the shark rays are "hiding."  the look of shock on their faces when the sharkray swims right overtop their heads...priceless. (they are acrylic glass tunnels that house the sharks, with a few glass panels allow for them to swim under you.)
