auras and other little stuff

so i was reasherching auras when i figured out ive been able to see them for years of course not knowing what they were i figured it was an eye trick that every one can do. somthen i find ironic about it is that i tryed it on me recently i couldent do it.but i do it most at school probly because i dont ppay atention to much.... exsplains my spelling errors .any input? also  last night when i tryed to induce an obe it felt like someone was rubbing the area between my eyes above my nose witch if im not mistaken is the thrid eye right? any ways i have no idea what may of caused it to feel like that any one got an idea what it may have been?

Hey Groath,

First off - don't feel bad about the spelling. You've mentioned this a few times in your posts and I want you to know that you shouldn't feel so bad about it. We're all equal here regardless of our writing skills. I'm sure I have my share of spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes throughout the website and a person's spelling means nothing to what their mind can contribute to a community like this. I will never judge you on your spelling mistakes and hopefully others won't either because those that do become hypocritical in a way. Black or white, male or female, young or old, able to spell or not able to spell - everybody here is a friend. I greatly appreciate you joining us.

Anyway, I've tried and tried but can't seem to "unfocus" my eyes to see a person's aura. Those that can do it try telling me how as though it is a simple thing yet I can't quite get it. I've seen little bits while staring in the mirror for a while but not enough to give a firm explanation. I've seen them on others and myself during astral projections but that's different. Hopefully someone else with better experience can join in to help.

As for the third eye - sensations in that area are very common. I remember reading somewhere long ago that those feelings are a way of cleaning off the eye to help it see - or something along those lines. I'm having trouble staying awake so it's hard to come up with the right words at the moment but this is a sign of your abilities waking up. I've felt itching, rubbing and even burning in this area. I've also noticed that the more this happened while trying to astral project the more heightened my psychic senses became. You're opening your mind's eye and next time it happens try and focus on that sensation. It stimulates it and helps you obtain the ability to "see".

You're on the right path and it sounds like it's all fairly natural for you. Keep it up!

thanks! but when i did feel that rubbing sensation i did focus on it and i swear i was very close to haveing an out of body exsperince. it was odd because it felt like my hands fused together but then when i had to breath and lost it my hands were a foot apart from each other. but thanks about the spelling bit but its just me i always worry about it even when i know i dont have to.

Ok, I know I'm running late on this topic, so please excuse me!
 First, I think that's awesome that you can see auras! I've always wished I could.
I was just thinking the other day about how strange it is that some people have abilities or gifts like that, or other ones to varying degrees, and don't seem to know that their ability is even unusual, or understand what it is for a long time. My son just had an experience like this with auras. When I asked him why he didn't say anything earlier, his answer was "I thought everyone else saw it also". Sound familiar? I also had a similar experience as I got older. I wonder how many other people have gifts and just take it for granted that everyone else can do/sense/see the same things? Interesting thought.

  It definitely sounds like you are making some awesome preogress with AP'ing! I am excited for you!
I think I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I was working on AP'ing again after not doing it for a while, one of the things I have experienced during these attempts is having the sensation that my hands were fused 2gether. That is very interesting that it has happened to you also. I wonder why that happens?

See, with auras, I *feel* the colours, if that makes any sense.  I have a strong attachment to colours.  It's as though my brain sees the colour and interprets it into an emotion.  I think this is why green is my favourite colour and that I go downright ballistic if someone tries to use MY green pawn/men etc... during a boardgame!  haha.

That feeling in your 3rd eye is you becoming more aware of your spiritual self moving about!
You should find that if you relax and allow yourself to flow upward and outward you will feel that tingling start to go away.
It sounds like you're making alot of progress and just not accustomed to feeling the energy flow inside of you.

HJuniper, you are synthetic, which could be that your senses are just fusing together subconsciously, which is like super cool!

groath, you just need to kind of ignore them if you get annoyed with them, then eventually, you will only see them once you feel like it. its a skill you learn. i mastered that within a few days, so its very easy! and auras are pretty cool.

and about the third eye, i dont feel a sensation on my skin, i feel it in the center of my brain, whenever i start to use more of my powers consciously, or if somebody enters or exits my mind, to read it. when people enter and exit, i can usually feel it in my skin as well. but inside the brain, it tingles as well. like in the centre. its kind of a funny sensation for me.

its nothing to be concerned, because its a natural reaction to your powers!

HJ- I was going to say that you are Synesthetic as well, but ghostgurl3765 beat me to it, lol. We are learning about this in my Psychology class (BTW- I'm back in college!!!) If you look up any info on it remember that it can take MANY different variations and vary widely in intensity. It also tends to run in families, unless it is caused by seizures, drug use, or head trauma.

Groath: I was checking in another forum the other day and a girl there was describing the same exact thing (though a little more intense). The people there told her they thought it may have been a psychic attack. I'm not saying that is what it is, just repeating what was said.
