Okay now, since you asked for it, I will give you a simple form of meditation and also to share this to other readers of this forum:
1. Sit in a good chair, lie down or any posture you prefer as long as you're in a comfortable position.
2. Relax all your muscles as well as you can. If you feel like full of energy or highly active, exercise lightly untill you feel like want to relax your muscle.
3. With eyes closed, concentrate on you breath.
-- Breath in so deep that you feel you get enough oxygen.
-- Breath out, relaxing your chest and diaphragm completely.
-- Every time you breathe out, think of a simple word inside yourself. You should think the word in a prolonged manner, and so that you hear it
inside you, but you should try to avoid using your mouth or voice.
4. While concentrating your breath, stop thinking about anything, or at least try not to think about anything.
5. Within 10 - 20 minutes repeat on concentrating your breath and emptying you mind:
6. If foreign thoughts come in, just stop these thoughts in a relaxed manner, and keep on concentrating upon the breathing and the word you repeat.
As you proceed through this meditation, you should feel steadily more relaxed in your mind and body, feel that you breathe steadily more effectively, and that the blood circulation throughout your body gets more efficient. You may also feel an increasing mental pleasure throughout the meditation.
As any kind of training, meditation may be exaggerated so that you get tired and worn out. Therefore you should not meditate so long or so concentrated that you feel tired or mentally emptied.
Meditation may sometimes give problems for people suffering from mental diseases, epilepsy, serious heart problems or neurological diseases. On the other hand, meditation may be of help in the treatment of these and other conditions.
Prayer of protection is also necessary before performing the meditation. For atheist, who wanted to enjoy the benefit of meditation, pray to "YHWH"(the old God), "Allah"(the war God) or whoever it may be, create a request or prayer of protection from your own words and from your heart.
Performing and mastering the simple meditation is your ticket to your psychic self. Do not limit yourself of some rules that doesn't make sense to you. You are the builder of your own world. You create your own rules as you build your own world for you are the master of your own self, physically and spiritually.
Remember, everything that surrounds you were a part of you and every humans were all your brothers. The day will come that you'll attain the perfections of self, be a "big brother" to everyone without discrimination of whatever race, age, profession, belief or actions of any individual.
