2012...again??

30 minutes in of the 2012 History channel special I call BS!!!!!!!!  Why, only authors are talking. No true experts on astronomy, history, palentology, egyptology or any culture, or geology. How can an author of a book about the end of the world or Nostradomus(sp) talk as an expert on geology or astronomy or on cultures or even history? Please... this is pure entertainment only not fact not history not anything but entertainment, so please do not take this thing seriously.

lol bet yah dident know the history channle is owned by dissney.. and yeah they do show a ton of that stuff but yeah there good for getting a foot hold on somthen. to be honest im almost looking forward to 2012 lol will see what the future holds.

I missed the special, but perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing. Actually, I'm glad that someone that I trust thinks it was all BS, I get scared thinking about the potential end of the world.

I am most certainly NOT looking forward to 2012. I try to remind myself of the whole 2000 hype, and how nothing came from it, but it's easy to get caught up in it all.

I would love to have a better understanding of it, from resources that I trust.

It's almost sad to hear that the History Channel blew it, they usually do a pretty decent job.

For me it was fun to watch and blow all they said out of the water, it was a good laugh. Their big thing was the suns apperance to converge in the center of the galaxy. APPERANCE being the big word. Disney huh... that would explain the provable impossible that they do. The Hitler channle is good for general history, a good starting point if you want to go and really learn about something, but you have to do your own research. Tonight is the 7 signs, another good laugh coming...
