hi... I'm new in Astral Projection and it has been 4days since i try to do it, i use the information in your site to do it. On my first time in attempting to astral project i first set a Binaural beats in my mp3 and listen to it as i concentrate and its very effective though in the end i did not astral project but the signs and the feelings are there. And, in the middle of my attempt on trying to astral project and in the part that i feel like i would succeed i felt as if i bump into something or something wont let me project and after that i woke up, i stop the attempt and just go to sleep. on the next day and is my 2nd attempt, i use the same method but in the end i just fall a sleep. the same thing happened in my 3rd attempt in the 3rd day i just fall a sleep.
i really really want to experience A.P...can someone give me an effective advice on how i can successfully Astral Project?? and, is it normal to have those kinds of results as a novice in A.P??

i cant remember the whole dream but what i remember is the part where me and my cousin enters a tunnel and he is holding a water container but before we enter the tunnel we first fill the container with water. as we enter the tunnel suddenly it flood and fill the tunnel with water unto the ceiling we hold our breath and continue to walk. but because i cant hold my breath anymore i swim to the ceiling to see if there is still a gap between the water and the ceiling where i can still breath in. but the water is still filling in the tunnel and at any moment that gap in the ceiling will be gone and be filled with water, then lots of thoughts came in my mind and one of them is the thought that "its a dream" and i just need to choose to wake up or continue with the dream. but sadly i choose to wake up.
= is this dream some sort of a lucid dream or something???

Lucid dreaming is a bit differnet, it's gven in detail around here somewhere... I need to get me an index. lol
This sound more like you are starting to take control of your dreams, which is rather cool.

Hi,
I know I'm a newbie but when I was a little kid I learned to recognize a nightmare and wake up enough to get out of it. This is how I did it-- I would imagine there were 3 chambers in the side of my head and I could slide dreams in--it was like the tube which drive-up banks use. and I could program it to only let me see good, helpful dreams and nightmares would be automatically discarded. I was prbably 8 or 9. It's worked for me. Maybe something like this can work for you too.

When I was that age it was easy. I thought of my brain as a bank vault and I had 3 chambers--I don't know why 3 but even now 3 and 6 make return appearences in my dreams, visions ect.--but anyway I had these chambers and I put the good dreams in the canister and slid them into the chambers and locked them in. That's how I did it and it worked for me I hope you can make your own version that will work for you.
Cheers,
