Using a Ouija alone
« on: March 13, 2008, 11:02:51 PM »

I have no problem with it.  I don't believe a spirit can posess you without consent.
Are we programmed to think that because of Regan and Captain Howdy from the Exorcist?
How is this different from automatic writing?
Thoughts?

well i know its been a minute before someone replied but i think the ouija can be used alone but i do agree w you hjuniper bc you do have to give consent and i think people do subconciously give consent but later forget bc they scare themselves about what happened

I do not believe in the use of Ouija boards. I've heard of too many personal accounts from my friends and family.  If they work, they are almost guaranteed to bring evil and/or demonic spirits into your presence, or they are faker than an orange tan in the dead middle of a dreary, gray, sun-free, and freezing winter.

Spirits do not possess people for automatic writing, they just send the information to them, and it is what is called "psychic phenomena" due to the fact that they are just giving the information.  Psychics usually do not remember what they say if they give a prophecy, so it should be similar with the principle of ghost/automatic writings.

Hey everyone! I'm baaaaack!!! I'm not a big fan of Quija boards. First of all, I do not trust anyone else not to move the plankette. Second, I wouldn't trust any of the information that I received, if I received anything at all. As for them being safe..... I would personally say a blessing, or in my case cast a circle before using one, but once that is done I would feel pretty safe. It's all a matter of will really. But this is just my opinion.
