Psychich Ability?

Hello,
 
   I am new, and very excited to have found this forum because I've been in search of help for quite some time now. I've always been extremely interested in energies, the paranormal, and different religions, or theories. I have been practicing lucid dreaming for years and reading books in the new age section, I just cant get enough of it. I'm 21 years old, in college, blah blah. Anyways, I feel like I have a psychic gift. There have been many times in my life when friends would ask me where they put something and I could just "see" it in my head. I could see where it was. I couldn't do it everytime, but it happened a lot. Also, when I was a child I saw ghosts on a regular basis, I don't see them much anymore but I can "feel" them, and when I was a preteen I experimented with seances and experienced results. I have an amazing intuition as well. I've recently wanted to expand my abilities, I've been reading and trying different things, making shields of protection and contacting spirits, ect. I meditate on a regular basis. But honestly, I just don't feel like anything is developing. I'm not having any experiences like I had hoped. Am I just being hopeful that I have an ability when in reality I'm just interested? If you think I do have one, how would you reccomend that I expand the ability?

It does sound like you have abilities. I have taught a few people on how to use and trian thiers. You must understand that at times when it seems like you're not progressing you have reached what I call a platau. It's where you level off for a while. Have seen these last from weeks to months to years. When in this platau the best thing to do is experiment with what you already know. How could you do what you do in differnt ways. If you can feel a spirit can you tell how tall it is or how wide or how strong the feeling is to how week the feeling is. Experiment! That is the best thing to do, never know what you can teach yourself when you experiment.
