Hey, Tolkus, I need your history. Ok, so while I was taking a WW2 class years back at the U, we were taught "this is what happened, it happened." I have always believed there was something more to it, something black. Kind of like the theories of the Dibbuk box and unleashing evils. And then re-reading things on Hitler's involvement with the Thule Society. The paranormal aspect of it all is so apparent, but no one touches on it in school, I am sure they have their reasons, though. Tolkus, did you learn anything on the subject in your studies? I really don't understand brainwashing to the extent of genocide. I thought the human mind was more able to rationalize against something so monstrous.

Yes i have heard of it and we did discuss it "out of class". You would be surprised at how easy it is to brain wash people. You have to know that in Germany at this time was extreamly bad. Money was only good to start fires with, people starving and looking for answers. So up steps Hitler and says "All the problems you are having are because of Jews." He even set up some of his own people and had them disguise themselves as what is now called the Brown Shirts to distroy businesses and destroy property owned by Jewish people as well. He had them arrested and exicuted before any one other than his people could question them and say he brought order from chaous. The people excepted without question because they were so desperate that they would do any thing to make it better and having a scape goat other than themselves they jumped on the band wagon and so you get the Holacaust. (this is just a summary) Thule society was something that the SS head(name can't remember now) incorperated into his ocult circle to go along with the Vril society. It was him (HIMNER?) that was part of that society and as for HItler he didn't in truth belong to any society, but let his SS man do whatever he wanted and would fund him as well, but as for taking part in things, there is no evidence. Hitler was nothing more than a druged up mentally diturbed man who could manipulate people. Most of the paranormal stuff is actually done by the SS head, Hitler used oclut stuff to streingthen oaths and solidify loyalty. The SS head, he was the one that had the theroies about Arian race, and cult societies. If you want to know more about the ocult and the Nazi's look up that SS guy. Hope that answered your question? If not let me know and I can do better.

Hey, Tolkus, I need your history. I really don't understand brainwashing to the extent of genocide. I thought the human mind was more able to rationalize against something so monstrous. I know this doesn't go along with the conversation, which I know next to nothing about I just wanted to say that as far as genocide, there was a huge movement in the early 19th century called eugenics, I'm sure most of you have heard of it, "Eugenics is the self-direction of human evolution". There were VERY famous people in the US who advocated Eugenics at the time. In my personal opinion (and to tie this in in a small way) Hitler and the holocaust are what brought about the end of the eugenics argument. Just think about what our country would be like had that not happened. Eugenics is of course a very bad word now, but I would bet their are many who in secret would still like to see it happen in some form. You hear people say "I wish someone had to pass a test to be a parent" and it is a throwback to the eugenics movement, INHO anyway. The only reason I treat this with such disdain is that had eugenics taken hold I would not even be here, and if by some chance I was, I would not have been allowed to have children, I could have possibly even been euthanized. Talk about genocide. Here is a link just in case you haven't heard of Eugenics (I'm putting a link to Wiki because it's the simplest explanation I've seen so far, though not the best.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics

Not much has changed over the years I'm affraid other than the name. Ever heard of the American Nazi Party, KKK or Skin Heads? These groups still believe in this they just put it in their own words.

Yes, you are right Tolkus. The only major difference (which is actually pretty small ),is that the Eugenics movement wanted those that had mental or physical deformities euthanized and or sterilized. The skin heads and the KKK want the same done to people not of a certain color or religious background. Other than what they would try and stamp out, it is very much the same thing. The only hope I gather from that is that *most* people see these groups as fringe fanatics, thankfully, where it used to be a widely spread belief. It's hard for some people because everyone is tired of seeing crack addicts giving birth to child after child that is born addicted to drugs, and that the mother has no means, or will, to take care of. The idea of euthanizing sounds pretty fair when looking at it from that point of view. Yes, stop people like that from having children, most people would agree that in that case, forced sterilization would be ideal. The problem is where does it stop? Like I said in an earlier post, in the early to mid 1900's the idea had spread to ALL mentally or physically handicapped people, not just drug addicts. It is a very slippery slope. I believe everyone should understand how close we came to eugenics being a reality. We have to remember our past, as not to repeat it. OK, *end rant* LOL....sorry
