Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. - Kahlil Gibran

My thoughts are that, not unlike the Bermuda Triangle, there are places where outerspace can suck up tangible objects. I often think that, for example when it rained locusts, it could have vaccuumed them up years and years ago. I think they go to a place where space/time is poppycock and then suddenly are let out to our world having not aged a day.

This reminds me of the show 4400, where all the people just show up on the shore, having not aged one day since they disappeared. I think that is a very good explanation HJ. I've always believed that there were "tears" in the fabric of space-time, or at least places where the veil was more thin than other places. Your ideas mesh really well with some of the things I believe. The whole idea of objects raining from the sky reminds me of something I read years ago, it was something about there being a "sea" in the sky. I'm thinking Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about it one of his books....maybe. I keep wanting to say the Sargasso sea, but I know that is an actual sea in the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I do know what you are talking about but my brain just left me... so no remember....sorry. I do have a poser for everyone, would you think that some "ghost" sightings are not ghost at all but the real person just walking through a rip in time or maybe that we have walked through the rip. Any thoughts?

Absolutely Tolkus! I have actually wondered about something very similar to that. I believe that at least some Haunted places have ...ripples, is the only way I know to describe it. I think that perhaps highly emotional moments ( a huge release of energy) can bend/warp time/space. So, I definitely think what you are suggesting is possible.
It is truly amazing how little we know about energy, I think having a better understanding of it, how it works, and how it can be manipulated will be the defining achievement in later years. That will the point when we stop being cavemen and start becoming what we really are meant to be.
So to answer your question, yes I do believe that is possible. Like having a shadow of yourself in other dimensions. I also think a very similar process could be behind some EVP's .
*I forgot something, I have had experiences where time seems to go very slow, like everything is in slow motion, and I am more aware of my surroundings. I've heard other people describe this also. Perhaps this is another example of time/space being altered. I have a question similar to this also, what about meditation? I know the medical reasoning behind it, alpha waves and all that jazz, but I mean the actual experience of it. we know that when a person is in the Astral the laws of space/time do not apply, or at least not in the way we are used to. So why would it be any different when we are in a more relaxed, open state of mind? The possibilities are endless. That is one of the reason I joined this forum, and why I love it so much. There is so much more out there to be experienced and learned, it's mind boggling. Here there are others who are willing to be open to all the possibilities.

Gifts come with curses, curses come with gifts.

i believe that some could be time-travel...but it would have to be in another dimension, or possibly apparitions from a past life in the space/time
