Ok, so I've been wondering about this one for a while. On one hand I think it's incredibly interesting, and I would LOVE for it to be true, but on the other I can't help but wonder. I think Doug has an article about it up on the main site (too tired to go look ). For all I know everybody could have already found out that it was fake and I look like a complete moron, if so please tell me quickly . http://www.starchildproject.com/As a side note I keep thinking about what Khat has said in earlier post about her finding all sorts of interesting things and the archeological/scientific community refusing to accept or study it, just makes me wonder all the more what all is REALLY out there.

Another post I missed - sorry Holly! I should start looking through the categories more instead of just the latest posts on the home page. Why do you think I set it to the latest 20 from 10?? That article's in the aliens section. Last I saw the verdict is still inconclusive. I picked up Forbidden Archeology by Michael Cremo It's a few hundred pages of bones found in strange places much older than believed and completely against the "accepted" theory of modern evolution. It doesn't contain possible alien heads but it stresses your point about "archeological/scientific community refusing to accept or study" anything against their narrow-minded train of thought. It was a couple years ago that I bought it used off of Ebay for over $40.00 plus shipping. Stores never seem to have it in stock and the libraries had at least a 2 month waiting period because so many people were trying to get their hands on a book first published in 1993. It's long and extremely boring at times but you'll come away with a vast knowledge of sedimentation and carbon dating, not to mention the out-of-place fossils it talks about. It also has a large section on overgrown primate fossils - something every Bigfoot lover should have a good look at because there are some strong cases for the existence of these creatures that you'll probably not be hearing anytime soon in the news. http://www.mcremo.com/

Wow, thanks a lot Doug, first you tell me about what sounds like a pretty cool book, then you tell me I probably won't be able to find it, unless I can afford $40 for a book (which I can't) AND get lucky enough to outbid everyone else who wants it on Ebay..... j/k It definitely sounds like something to look into. I am really fascinated with Archeology. Wish we knew more about the whole Starchild thing, that would be a fairly interesting find now wouldn't it?

All that I can add is that Starchild is very unfortunate looking! Brighid, you'd be surprised at what cheap finds you can score on ebay...just be sure they don't jack up the shipping costs. I've boughten books for a buck (maybe 7 dollars shipping).

Well, that gives me a little hope HJ I don't have that much experience with Ebay. I'll definitely have to keep an eye out for that book. Thank-you *also I agree one hundred percent about the starchild, I think "unfortunate" is a very good way to describe it.

You mean Lloyd Pye hasn't gotten a DNA specialist that will agree with him yet? Big suprise imo I think it's odd that they will reimburse all the people they're begging to make donations when POSITIVE results are found. It seems like if they were interested in finding the truth, it'd be the opposite (unless they expect negative result and want to keep all of the donations for themselves...). Sounds like a scam to me. That or horribly botched 'science' that's being misused to fill someone's pocket.

Good point Lenura. In a way it seems strange that absolutely NOONE has offered to do the DNA testing on the skull. I saw where they were asking for donations, but I didn't see the part about reimbursing anyone if the results were positive. That does sound a little fishy. Like I said it seems strange that no one has offered, and yet I've seen how the scientific world will not accept anything outside of their realm of possibility. Regardless, I would like to see the final results. I would like it if there were more dissenting opinions around to gauge the whole thing with. Actually, when I looked it up again I found a wikipedia link that says DNA testing and carbon dating HAVE been done. Perhaps just not the tests he wanted? Or does he want further tests? Here is the link- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starchild_skull. I have to say though, the entire wikipedia article sounds suspiciously like everything else Lloyd has said. I wonder who wrote it?

Believe it or not I have seen this on Discovery channel I think, and they did DNA test, 3 different kinds, and found it to be a child with a disease and they had 5 more skulls along side it to show the same thing.

See, I didn't see anything about that on the Wikipedia article, now I'm even more convinced that Lloyd wrote it.
Thank-you much Tolkus, I knew there had to be other explanations out there.
