Heard about this last night and just had to post it before going to bed. Results will come in on Friday!! Check out the pictures. Tried during the night and Coleman's site was down probably to an overwhelming amount of traffic. http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/ga-gorilla/So if that's not working Coast to Coast has the pictures on their site. Ummmm maybe not - just went there and it looks like they've taken down their page with the pics. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/Supposed to be on Fox news in 2 1/2 hours but I can't stay up that long. Of course it will probably end up a wild gorilla but I'm a little excited. Shhhhh....

That is too cool! We vacation in those mountains, I'm impressed that they found anything at all. You don't realize how vast that area really is, I'm still confounded as to how the Indians were ever found and removed from there? I have always heard of tracks being found and hikers on the Appalachen trail reporting seeing these things but to find one before the forest reclaimed it is just... AMAZING.

OK, the excitement is contagious, now I'm really looking forward to how it all turns out.
Wouldn't that be awesome if it's real ?? There would be a lot of validated people if it turns out to be Bigfoot after all.
(I'm reminded of a post I read on here by Khat a while back, didn't she have an encounter also?)

Just saw the news report, it looks real! The DNA he said should be back by Friday or Saturday. Plus Fox news was invited to view it for themselves to prove it's real. I think it is... I hope I hope I hope!!! This would be fantastic if it turns out to be true.

Whose freezer is it? Did they get a statement?

The two guy who found it have it in a freezer and called the Big Foot expert. The two guys are still with it they were interviewed on radio last week or earlyer this week, but I can't remember the name of the show, it is a paranormal show, so that shouldn't be too hard to try and find, I don't think?

Do you realize how historical this event is? No matter the out come It will more than likely become as big as the 1950's footage because of all the present day press coverage. To me it has to be real to get DNA samples from, suits don't have DNA and I don't think these guys are dumb enough to plant human material for DNA testing. Nor do they have access to primate material, I know the area, if it is primate then someone from the Atlanta zoo has to be involved and boy that would make a good scandle, but it's not because it's real... gotta be... really.

I also think that if these 2 guys planned on faking something they wouldn't knowingly find a common primate and stick it in a freezer as physical evidence. That would become just another mockery of the Bigfoot legend and they'd be very much hated for it.
If it turns out to be a wild ape surprisingly living in that area it would lend credence to the legend but would possibly make them look foolish if the thing escaped from a zoo. Again it would become another mockery but at Bigfoot enthusiasts' foolishness.
Now if it proves to be true, well, that would be self-explanatory!
I think these guys would have too much at stake to just throw out a faking to this extent. If the freezer mysteriously "disappears" over the next couple days I'd be thinking twice thrice. Conspiracy theories would become plentiful and their butts would be saved.
Either way, it's not just a picture. Exciting times!
