mystery ship
« on: September 17, 2008, 12:53:45 PM »

Down around Fort Morgan Alabama on the beach hurrican Ike uncovered the remains of a ship. The hull was burned out and remains of steam ship parts are in the wreckage as well as a bronze tow hook. There is a good chance that this could be a civil war ship, but archological work needs to be done. It's about 3 hours from here and I have a friend going to school down there who is going to take some pics of it for me. If you'd like when I get them I can post them, maybe some amature archeologist might be able to tell what this is "groth... hint hint". It can be seen on a NBC news clip online. Strange how something as big as a 105 foot boot can be completly buried in sand on a beach and no one ever know it's there. Makes you wonder what else is in this world thats buried just waiting to be found.

Yes it does make one wonder doesn't it? Maybe that's what I should do, just travel around and comb beaches with super electronic metal finders, LOL  It will be perfect!

You'd need a name like The Artifactor or just a one name thing Digger. You don't have to be rich, that's what happens after you get the treasure, go get a metal detector and go to the beach, or to an old homestad, I'm sure you'll find something.
