Wait, judging by scale, that would put it at a Black Lab size, no? 

ETA: the fly looks to be a horsefly (double the size of a m'eh fly)  This is after looking at it through digital close-up.

probly sun baked..umm it dosent have fins... its non aquatic...no gills also um i dont want to say racoon..but if you notice the the teeth structure its dead on  um its fur was probly fallen off by salt water that or people are jerks and torutred it.. my say is racoon.

Yeah, "rotisserie" is wrong. Can't wait to eat the hot dogs I have cooking now. lol

Geraldo had something on his show about this (didn't see it) but he tried to originally connect it with some sort of animal testing facility upriver.

I'd heard of a few experts saying it was nothing more than a racoon carcass. This is the first I've seen the comparison picture and it does look like a pretty close match.

well, it may be that the skin is partially preserved because of dehydration...and ive heard raccoon, but of that im skeptical of. it could be any type of large rodent
