please describe what you love about your city ie: buildings, parks, people, celebrations etc.  Your city/state needs alot of love and pride and we are not feeling this when we are searching to help draw out the negative and replace with positive energy.

Ok, what to love about Windsor, Ontario...  I might need Doug's help with this one.

Well, I love the waterfront park and the Detroit skyline.

I love that the big corporations, save for the big Daimler-Chrysler building (RIP Fast Eddie's Arcade!), manage to keep their distance from the downtown core and that mom&pop shops are somehow, albeit barely, surviving.

I love that our city/surrounding county is surrounded by water.

I love Ojibway Park and how you can easily get lost on the forested trails while being within city limits.

We have a growing artscene.

We are one of the most liberal cities in Canada.  Not liberal as in the political party, but liberal as in censorship etc...

I love how culturally diverse we are.  If I want to have an espresso at a genuine Italian cafe complete with arguing old men watching the soccer game, I just have to walk one block.

I am a big strong point and valued member in this city.  Doug's not so bad either.

Well, there are two possible places that are hiring.  The border, which is a fantastic job, and a tech support (Verizon?) place opening up.
I am keeping my fingers crossed.  I am back at work and my husband is going to be going back to school.

I heard that they're not gonna hire Border officers in next few years. I'm assuming once new bridge is open they might start again.
