so i finally think im getting close to having an out of body exspereince,i get to that stage where your border lining on sleep but i can catch myself but im not sure what to do next.. and then when i think im almost there i get excited then my heart rate jumps up and i wake up abit lol its kind of annoying.. so what do i do next?

well any thing else? i kind of just wait for the vibrations or the sounds that are spoes to happen to happen but as far as i can tell.. they dont yet

Don't worry about the sounds and stuff, think of a place in your room to go when you feel this and try and look back at yourself.

i keep getting close i think i get to that point where you between sleep and being very relaxed once or twice i have fallen asleep but im really good at catching myself now. problems is idk what to do next. i know i am spoes to think about floating out of my body and when i do i half wake myself up my heart rate jumps backup again and i find myself awake.. its very annoying.

Try not to think so much, just see an area in your room and go there, but don't think about it. Am I making any scenes?

Like Tolkus said, try and focus on the ceiling. Another thing that might work too, and maybe even earlier than when you're borderline asleep, is to imagine yourself climing a rope, or taking an elevator, or taking off in a spaceship, or whatever suits your needs. Rope is the most common and you just keep picturing your hands grabbing up the rope and before you know it you're staring at the ceiling. I've gotten out a couple times this way.

i keep waking myself up sorta, but ive found that i can get to the state alot faster then i have before. from around 30 to 40 minutes to 15 minutes now.
